El Molino del Conde is a beautiful large country house with private swimming pool and tennis court set in large secluded gardens surrounded by a stream, hills and olive groves. There is very easy access to Granada, Seville, Malaga, Cordoba and Ronda.

El Molino del Conde also provides a peaceful and inspiring venue for courses - which have recently included Creative Writing, Painting Holidays (Watercolour,oils and acrylic), Cookery vacations, fitness bootcamps and Pilates holidays.
El Molino del Conde has been lovingly restored to retain all the character of the big old mill house and ensure a high level of comfort. There are high beamed ceilings, comfortable bedrooms and large luxurious bathrooms. The big main kitchen is designed to make your self-catering holiday easier if you are a large group with restaurant-grade cooker, big fridge and a dishwasher - and there is a further family kitchen too.

Outside, you'll find fresh eggs from the chickens, fresh herbs from the kitchen garden, pomegranate, fig, almond and walnut trees, sun terraces, private swimming pool, large shaded dining areas, picnic spots next to the stream, a vine-covered courtyard and large grounds where children can run around safely.

Area Description: El Molino del Conde is ideally located for visits to Granada, Cordoba, Seville, Ronda and Malaga. The Alhambra Palace in Granada and the Picasso Museum in Malaga are only an hour away and other day-trips might include the Mezquita in Cordoba or the ancient Roman aqueduct in Ronda.

From home you can walk up the valley between the olive groves to buy fresh vegetables from the local market and enjoy tapas in the bars. Visit the local hilltop village of Iznajar with its ruined Moorish Alcazaba and the church of Santiago set above the beautiful large lake.

New from summer 2011 is a multi-sports court in the gardens which offers a 3/4 size tennis court also suitable for badminton and volleyball.
