The second bedroom has twin beds and a separate shower/toilet. The lower level has a well-equipped kitchen and a lounge/dining area that opens on to a terrace which is well stocked with patio furniture. There is a single folding bed making it possible to accommodate up to 5 people comfortably.

 Cortijo Grande is a delightful area situated away from through-traffic and is noted for its mountain views and golf course surrounded by orange and lemon groves. The area is close to Garrucha, a boating centre, and Mojacar, a village perched high on a hill with views over the sea.
Horse-riding facilities are within easy reach by car. Sandy beaches stretch for miles along the coast at Mojacar and Garrucha (both 15 min drive away). There are two local restaurants (approx 10 mins walk away). Turre, the nearest village (5 min drive), has a good selection of restaurants and bars, a supermarket and a weekly outdoor market.
Cortijo Grande has good road connections with airports at Almeria (45 min drive), Murcia (90 mins) and Alicante (2 hours). The historic city of Grenada is a 2.5 hr drive. The Cabo de Gata national park, a popular tourist area with abundant wildlife and isolated beaches is about 40 mins drive away.
