Pretty village house with spacious courtyard recently restored with high quality finishes and decoration.
On the ground floor is the entrance hall, living room with fireplace, sitting room with WIFI Internet access and well equipped kitchen (wood-burning stove, cooker, oven, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher). The kitchen leads to a spacious courtyard with a lemon tree.
On the first floor are two double-bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms (one with jet-stream bath, one with walk-in shower) and a large, partly covered terrace with a table for outdoor dining.
Stairs from the first floor lead to a studio with a balcony at the front and a roof terrace with lovely views at the back.
There is central heating, which makes the house very suitable for winter holidays.
Restaurants, tapas bars and shops are all within walking distance.
Gaucin is a beautiful mountain village with sweeping views to Gibraltar and the Rif mountains of north Africa. It is situated against the spectacular backdrop of the Serrania de Ronda. It sits 2000 feet above sea level on the crest of the Sierra del Hacho, and due to its key strategic position was once a major Roman settlement. Its castle, Castillo del Aguila dates from this era and was later expanded by the Arabs into a fortress.
