ALMERIA PROVINCE
Alméria is in the southeast corner of Andalucia and gets the most sunshine and least rainfall in the region. It has one of Europe's largest energy plants and is also one of the most productive agricultural areas with more than 10,000 hectares cultivated commercially. It is home to the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural park with its wonderful wildlife areas and large coastal reserve.
