CADIZ PROVINCE
The province of Cádiz has miles of beautiful beaches on two coastlines: Costa del la Luz on the Atlantic Coast and the Costa del Sol along the Mediterranean coast. Its Atlantic coastline is a favourite of windsurfers and birdwatchers, one of its best known coastal towns being Tarifa.
The city of Cadiz is steeped in history. It was originally founded by the Phoenicians in 1100 BC. It has a number of museums including an archaelogy and art museum with Phoenician exhibits and several others.
